Thinking of squeezing yourself into that gorgeous but too-tight dress for a big party? Let Joan Collins’ Oscar night emergency be a lesson to you. The former soap star had to be rushed to the hospital via ambulance because she wore a dress that was too tight.
Joan Collins claims she had a “Victorian swoon” caused by the skin-hugging dress she wore to the Vanity Fair party at the Sunset Tower Hotel
Joan Collins told reporters, “We went to the hospital and they did all the tests before the doctors told me I was absolutely fine and released me. The truth was, I made the wrong decision to wear a very tight dress and had something rather like a Victorian swoon.”
She added, “The good news is, I am in good health and feel fine today.”Goodness! I’m glad Joan’s feeling better, but I never would’ve thought a dress could make someone feel so faint they had to seek medical treatment. At her age, though, it’s definitely better to be safe.
I wonder if Jennifer Aniston is snickering somewhere (since Joan is okay, after all

Courteney Cox brought daughter Coco along too and she looks like she’s enjoying the pool time! I wonder how things are going between Courteney and David Arquette especially now that he opened up to Oprah that he really wants to reconcile.
It looks like Courteney Cox is busy enough with work to take her mind off it though. Courteney Cox, Christa Miller, Busy Phillips (don’t you just love her skirt!) and Josh Hopkins were all spotted filming in Oahu.
At one point Courteney Cox goes down the water slide fully dressed! I hope her knee has healed from her surgery! I’ve missed Cougar Town over the last few weeks – I hope it comes back soon! Are you a fan?

I think after this year’s Academy Awards it’s safe to say that the academy will be looking for a new host next year, and Hugh Jackman has revealed that he wouldn’t mind the job!
Hugh Jackman spoke to E!’s Marc Malkin and revealed that he got a little nostalgic when he was rehearsing for the awards show;
“I did have a great, great time hosting,”Hugh Jackman was spotted out today in New York with his daughter Ava. He’s busy getting ready for his new Wolverine movie and E! reports that Hugh was asked to put on 30 pounds of muscle for the role! Wow! I am looking forward to that movie:)
“When I came [to the Kodak] for rehearsals this year, there was a little tug. I was like, ‘I wouldn’t mind doing this again.’ “

Christina Aguilera Confirmed As Third Coach On “The Voice”
After a rough start to her week, Christina Aguilera has some good news to share: she’s landed a new job. NBC announced this afternoon that Christina Aguilera will be joining Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green as a coach on the upcoming show “The Voice“.
They shared in a press statement:
“Christina Aguilera has a once in a generation talent — her voice is phenomenally distinctive and instantly recognizable. Her journey as an artist, who started so young in the music business, will be an inspiration to the talent she coaches on the show.”Christina Aguilera is excited about the new opportunity:
“I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it. To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists’ careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms.I am so happy to be working with fellow Grammy Award winners Adam and Cee Lo as I feel there is so much we can all bring to ‘The Voice.’”It’s a shame that this news is overshadowed by her drunken incident earlier this week, but hopefully she can get some help and move forward with her new show. It premieres April 26th.

‘Jersey Shore’ star Snooki (aka Nicole Polizzi) shares with Rolling Stone that she is mortified when she sees herself partying on the reality show and talks about her life plan after the shore.
“If I do something stupid, which is pretty much the whole time, I hate it. I just hate it. Obviously, they’re only going to put the good stuff in, and the good stuff is us drunk, so all I’m seeing is me drunk and falling down.
That’s how I am when I party, but some of the stuff I do is, like, ‘Really, Nicole?’ I look like a freakin’ alcoholic. I’m like, ‘You’re sweating, your make-up is running, you look gross.’ I just look like s**t.”She also shares that she wants to do more reality shows and then build an empire the way Jessica Simpson has because she can’t imagine going to a desk job after this:
“When ‘Jersey Shore’ ends I’m going to do more spin-offs. If MTV doesn’t want them, another network will be, like, ‘What Does Snooki Do Now?’ or ‘Snooki’s Getting Married!’
“What I’d like is to turn out like Jessica Simpson, with her whole brand. She makes millions … I’m trying to build an empire, because after this I can’t get a normal job. I mean, how do I go and sit behind a desk?”Do you ever wonder if the Jersey Shore cast members will start going the route of “The Hills” with the “it was all fake and now I want to show the REAL me” type stuff once the show comes to an end? I’m starting to get that vibe….
